Big Bear Fencing

Great fencing studio! My son really enjoys the classes. Mark does a great job of creating a fun atmosphere where the kids can develop their skills. Lots of good competitive fencing opportunities also.

Big Bear Fencing has made an incredible impact on our 12 year old Son.Prior to joining this fencing club, his sole interest was video gaming.Big Bear has given him a passion for fencing, reinvigorated his interest in socializing, and given him a great group of peers.The fencing lessons are excellent and we’ve seen tremendous progress both at the club itself and through external fencing tournaments.Equally important is the sense of community with this club. The students go for the fencing AND the friendships.The parents are welcome to get involved, and we like to come together to help with the club wherever we can.Mark, the owner and coach, has created a space where everyone can find their place.All in all, this is an amazing place for kids to gain friendships, learn a fun, interesting, active sport, and build character.I cannot recommend Big Bear Fencing enough!!! If I could give it more than 5 stars I would.Come and check it out.

Nice entry level club.

Mark is an awesome coach, and is really great at making fencing fun for beginners and challenging as the kids progress!

Mark is an extremely knowledgeable coach who knows how to make fencing accessible and fun for everyone. The lessons are engaging and helpful, my fencing has improved a lot since coming to this club and I would recommend it to anyone

My boy is 7 and has been involved with Big Bear Fencing for two years now. He is super motivated each week for his next class. Great job EVERYONE that helps out to make sure the little ones feel at home and part of a greater community.

Mark is a very knowledgeable and kind instructor. He's very friendly with the kids, but keeps the class on track at the same time. Highly recommended! A+

Great fencing lessons for youth. This company is all about taking their time with the students. They work with full body coordination and proper fencing technique. Mark really loves fencing and you could see his passion when he's teaching the students. I like that the sport involves physical activity and focus. It's excellent for someone looking to bring a balanced activity into their lives. Did I mention that it's incredibly safe?
