Club d'Escrime Sth de Québec

I was introduced to this fencing club by an athlete on the Canadian National Fencing team. I was able to register for a lesson while I was visiting Quebec City for a conference. As an out of town registrant I was warmly welcomed and I thoroughly enjoyed my lessons. I have to say that I was also suitably impressed by the facility and the staff. I am a sport physiotherapist and I have been working with athletes of all levels for almost 20 years. I know how difficult it is too create and sustain high level sport in Canada. The owners of this young club have really tried to create an inspiring atmosphere on a limited budget. They welcome athletes of all levels, ages and even people who are interesting in trying something new. I respect that they even included a small fitness area for the club members to incorporate fitness into their sport training. I think this is a fantastic place for developing athletes to train and learn from the high performance members. Well done!
