Probably the best fencing club in Ontario! The people are amazing!

Fantastic coaches, very knowledgable and caring. My 13yr old loves his fencing classes.

An absolutely FABULOUS club! What a gem! Extremely enthusiastic and terrifically expert fencing coaches (aka maestri" - the original Italian traditional term for fencing coaches) who are just absolutely amazing at what they do! I can't believe how much I have improved in such a short time under their amazing care. These maestri really know what they are talking about! Yikes! So impressive! Something also I love about the club is that it is all about love of the martial art and sport of fencing

Great coaches, relaxed style, good workout and lots of fun. Wonderful activity to do with your spouse/ partner.

Jean Franc, Joey & Ali have been great mentors. They are approachable, friendly and supportive and each has a very different persona which makes me believe that even the most meek of persons entering the class can feel welcome. They have now trained everyone of us in our family - my daughter when she was a confident 10, my son as a young uncertain teen, my husband as a past sportsman in his 50's and myself (young, fresh and a quick learner. lol). We have all enjoyed the experience of fencing because of their generous support - spending 1:1 time whenever requested. Their humility combined with their skill and easy nature led us to a fun brag point and a unique way to work out once a week (it's a 2 hour class!). If you ever had a fleeting thought to try fencing - I fully recommend you choose West End over other clubs - from price to personality - these guys are genuinely the cool and a top choice. :)

West end swords is a great place to fence. There are student of all levels so it's a good place to learn and develop your fencing skills. The coaches are very knowledgeable and every week we learn about new techniques or strategies. Most importantly, the classes are a lot of fun and are usually the highlight of my week. I recommend this school to anyone.

I've been fencing at WES for years and highly recommend. The coaches Gianfranc, Ali and Joey are great people and really care about the growth of their students. We also have a good mix of beginners and people who compete so it's a good learning environment!

Friendly environment yet very competitive, amazing teachers, and great for a workout

Great coaches and a really fun environment! Everyone is very welcoming and supportive. I am a left handed would-be fencer and the teachers have been very supportive. They provide great custom tips on how to improve and very patient.There are very few options on the west side of the GTA but I'm glad I tried West End Swords.I took it up as a passive hobby but I will be continuing as long as West End is in business =)
